Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster dimensions should be 1100mm wide x 900mm high to fit within the poster board space using the landscape layout.

Each abstract is assigned a poster number organized by the abstract categories. If your abstract is accepted, you will find your poster number on My Page by logging in this website. Please refer to the poster presentation schedule.

All presenters must post their posters on their assigned poster board by the end of the posting time. Make sure your poster number matches the number printed on the upper left or right corner of the poster board when you post your poster. Stickers will be provided on each poster board. You will not be allowed to use any other materials such as tape, glue, staples or anything else other than the given material.

Posters must remain on display until the end of each poster session and be removed during the removal time of each poster session. Any materials left on the poster board at the end of the session will be removed and discarded. The secretariat will not be responsible for anything left at the end of the conference.

The presenters must be present at their display during the presenter’s presence time assigned for each poster session. Presenters are expected to interact with diverse researchers to discuss their work as well as to have opportunities to network with others in their area of interest to exchange information and participate in general discussions with colleagues.

Those poster presentations that applied for the KSBNS Outstanding Poster Awards and selected on-site assessment will be evaluated by judges. The judges will have the opportunity to assess the posters in their own time and also ask questions to the presenter during the scheduled presenter presence time as well. Presenters who have their posters selected for on-site assessment and do an excellent presentation will receive the KSBNS Outstanding Poster Awards. The selected list will be posted on the notice board during the conference.

The criteria for assessment are as follows:
  • Research content: overall scientific quality, potential impacts of the research, creative approaches
  • Visual Appeal: attractive graphics, appropriate font size, print quality, logical flow of the information
  • Impression of Presentation: concise and clear presentation, ability to interaction with the viewers
The KSBNS Outstandind Poster Awards consists of certificates and cash prizes. The winners will be presented their awards at the General Assembly. They must be present to receive the award. The number of selected awardees may be subject to change at any time at the discretion of the program committee.
